Clarkson's Farm Locations Tour (1-Day)

Woodstock, Diddly Squat Farm Shop, Hawkstone Brewery, Burford, Farmer's Dog Pub

Join us on this small-group Clarkson’s Farm Locations Tour where we’ll spend the day exploring the places that feature in the Clarkson’s Farm series. Travelling through the beautiful countryside of The Cotswolds, we’ll visit Diddly Squat Farm Shop, Hawkstone Brewery, the team’s new pub, The Farmer’s Dog and more…

Our day begins by departing London to the west and travelling towards Clarkson’s Farm and the beautiful countryside of The Cotswolds. This region is a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB); a protected status it has been given due to the special landscape here. The Cotswolds has a history as a former centre of the wool industry and is still an important farming region today.

Arriving into The Cotswolds, our first stop of the day is the historic town of Woodstock, set on the very edge of the region. This location is a former royal forest that English Kings would visit and today the town is located next to Blenheim Palace, birthplace of Winston Churchill. We’ll have a short stop in Woodstock, with time to wander the charming streets and take a rest break.

Next, we continue into the heart of the Cotswolds countryside, following the narrow country lanes. We’ll pass through the village of Chadlington, which has featured on numerous occasions throughout the Clarkson’s Farm series. Then we’ll ascend the hill as we arrive at Diddly Squat Farm Shop. From this location we can enjoy views of Clarkson’s Farm which surrounds us. Due to queue times (1.5hrs+) we won’t be able to go into the shop, however, there will be the opportunity to take photos, have refreshments and explore.

Then we’ll continue deeper into The Cotswolds as we travel towards Hawkstone Brewery, which featured from series 2 of Clarkson’s Farm. The team established the brewery in 2021 and this is the site where the beer is made. This will be our stop for lunch as they have a food-truck on-site and you may wish to try some of the Hawkstone brews!

After lunch we’ll depart Hawkstone and pass through Bourton-on-the-Water, a charming village that has been affectionately nicknamed ‘The Venice of The Cotswolds’. We’ll absorb more of the beautiful countryside as we make our way towards Burford; known as the ‘Gateway to The Cotswolds’. This market town was a centre of the prosperous wool trade during the Middle Ages and is home to one of the finest churches in England. We’ll have time to explore Burford and stretch our legs after lunch.

Then, from Burford, we’re just a stone’s throw away from our final stop, the Clarkson’s Farm teams new pub, The Farmer’s Dog. Formerly The Windmill, this pub has been transformed by Jeremy Clarkson and the gang. From this location we can enjoy views over the surrounding countryside and take some final refreshments (perhaps another sip of the local brew?) before we return to London.

The Clarkson’s Farm Locations Tour returns to Urban Baristas coffee shop, South Kensington, by approximately 17.30.
